Makes sure them lights roll over. I heard they can be a serious PITA!

I don't know that i could successfully look for the car, much less problem areas. I'm not convinced they actually exist.

I am told it runs. But I'm wondering about parts availability and how hard it will be to work on. Just trying to find out some info before I even go look at it. On the downside - slushbox.

Here's a solution. Engine and tranny swap from something else.

Rust. Check the battery tray, shock towers, rockers, etc. If there's rust in the cowl just walk away. It's too hard to fix rust issues on these so unless you can get it dirt cheap just look for a least-rusty example.

Also makes sure the headlights still pop-up (IIRC it was mechanical and not vacuum) and work - check for frayed headlight wires, as the twisting motion (they are twist-ups as opposed to pop-ups) could fray the wires over the years. The original Solex carbs leaked pretty fierce, but they can be rebuilt or swapped with a Weber 32/36. The 4-spd transmission would develop a leak at the front bell housing gasket, if gear oil was low the 4th gear synchro would chew itself to death as well. Also apparently when you start the car, 30 amps of current runs from the battery through the ignition switch to the starter. Might want to install a relay.

It's got a traverse front leafspring design, so trying to disassemble the suspension improperly could kill you.

Other than that, you should pay up to $14,000 for a really really nice example, and average should be around $6,000. Happy hunting!
